The Co-operative Bank’s Everyday Rewards TV ad 2016, Richard’s Story

Richard Reynolds moved into his Elephant & Castle flat more than 10 years ago, and found himself frustrated and depressed by the lack of gardens & greenery in his area.

Since 2004 he has adopted neglected patches of public land and uses his skills to transform them into beautiful gardens, for the benefit of his community.

At The Co-operative Bank, we celebrate being different. We celebrate those people within our communities that make a difference to our lives, the individuals within our society that bring a positive impact to our local surroundings and environment.

These are the people that make a real, everyday difference. From helping the homeless in Exeter, to improving child literacy standards across Great Britain, celebrating difference is what makes us unique.
